Jerbrel Bowens - Director, Music Composer


Looking to serve as a music educator, Jerbrel holds a degree in music education with a focus in music composition & Percussion from Houghton College in Houghton N.Y.  Jerbrel also holds a New York State Teaching certificate. He has studied composition under an array of professors. He also has studied percussion with Jim Tiller and Dustin Woodard. Jerbrel graduated from Webster Schroeder High School in 2012 in Webster NY, where he grew as a percussionist and composer. He marched four years as a snare drummer and had also served as section leader for the 2011 Webster Marching Band field season and Webster Percussion Theatre.  He has been involved with, and influenced by the drum corps world since 2009. Jerbrel is currently on staff with the Webster High School Marching Band as the Percussion Caption Head. He also currently serves as a music teacher at Renaissance Academy in Greece NY. Recently, Jerbrel was the front ensemble instructor for the Victor Marching Blue Devils (2015 New York State Field Band 1st Place National Class Champions) and the Victor Indoor Percussion Ensemble as the front ensemble instructor (2016 New York State Percussion Circuit 1st place Grand Champions). Jerbrel is honored to be back teaching at his alma-mater. 

Tyrell Carver - Head Front Ensemble Instructor


Tyrell previously served as Percussion Caption Head & Music Director for the Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps (Milwaukee, WI) from 2011 to 2013. In addition to his involvement with Pioneer over the years, he has been prominent in percussion writing and instruction in New York state. He has taught and arranged for several marching bands, including the Webster and Greece marching band programs. He has also been on staff for several other drum and bugle corps, including Spectrum, Rochester Crusaders and the Empire Statesmen.

Peter (PK) White - Head Battery Instructor


PK White is a percussionist from the Syracuse, New York area who specializes in Drum Corps along with other percussive arts, such as drum set and concert percussion. He marched in the West Genesee High School Marching band playing bass drum, snare drum and tenors. He has also played drum set in the pit for the Onondaga Community College Indoor Drumline while in high school. 

Raelena Allen - Front Ensemble Technician
​Raelena graduated from Victor High School after being in the marching band and indoor percussion ensemble for three years.  She is a sophomore at Nazareth College, majoring in psychology and art, and continues with music by playing percussion for the Symphonic Band. This will be her first year with the Webster Percussion Theatre front ensemble.

Luke Martin - Battery Visual Caption Head, Tenor/Bass Technician


Luke is 20 years old and is a 2015 graduate of Victor High School, where he was a member of the Victor Marching Blue Devils and the Victor Indoor Percussion Ensemble from 2010 to 2015.  He also has multiple seasons of drum corps under his belt, having been a member of the 2013 Empire Statesmen and the 2016 Skyliners Drum and Bugle Corps.  Luke currently attends Finger Lakes Community College where he majors in Environmental Studies.

Dan Campbell - Drill Designer


Dan's teaching and designing experience includes the Marcus Whitman colorguard and Marching band and the Patriots Drum and Bugle Corps.  Dan has also been the color guard caption coordinator, visual coordinator and drill designer for the West Genesee Marching band. In addition, Dan been the drill designer for the Webster Marching Band and many other marching bands around the country.


Dan has been an adjudicator for WGI for over 30 years, specializing in Equipment Analysis and Design Analysis.  He has served on the WGI task force as the EA caption representative many times.  Dan has also judged for DCA, where he served as the visual caption coordinator, as well as DCI and many marching band circuits throughout the country.

Jimmy Hartmann - Audio Engineer

Jimmy is a music educator and performer.  Primarily a vocalist and pianist, Jimmy also has special interest in live sound and audio recording.  He graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia with a degree in Music Education with a concentration in Choral and General music. He also holds a NYS Teacher's Certification. This is Jimmy's first year with the Webster Percussion Theater.
